Indonesian Tourism
Like other countries, for some years Indonesia has developed its tourism. Many effort have been made among other things, first, to develop potential tourist resorts through the establishment of the Bali Tourism Development Corporation; second, to develop the new tourist resorts in Krakatau (West Java), Batu Raden (Central Java), and Bali Nirwana Reort (Bali); third, to carry out the National Tourism Activities such as Lake Toba Festival in Prapat, Borobudur Festival in Magelang, Ramayana Ballet in Yogykarta; fourth, to participate in some international tourism activities like the Tenth General Meeting of the World Tourism Organization (WTO) in Nusa Dua, Bali, in the Asean Tourism Forum in Singapore, and in the International Tourism Bourse in Berlin; fifth, to promote its field of tourism abroad by sending its cultural missions and participating in some important international tourism exhibitions; sixth, to help, prepare, and survive the tourism business by establishing schools for tourism and training centres in some cities.
Those are the ways or efforts to escalate the growth of the tourism business. Besides, things that support the development of the tourism business have also been carried out, that is the development of the quality of tourism product and services which includes safety, orderliness, cleanliness, comfort, beauty, hospitality, and enchanting memories.
